《石塘社谱诗 》- 以开基祖东山公之名作为起始，加上地理环境的意象，谱诗勾勒出对于石塘后代延续家族优良品德的期许。此以五言律诗为格式的谱诗，提供谢氏40代族人命名的参照。直至现今，在槟城的石塘谢氏族人已传至26代。
Starting with the name of our founding ancestor, Dongshan Gong, and incorporating imagery of the geographical surroundings, this genealogical poem outlines the expectations for the descendants of the Shitang family to uphold the noble virtues. Written in the format of a five-character regulated verse, this poem provides a reference for naming the 40 generations of the Xie clan. As of today, in Penang, the lineage of the Xie family in Shitang has continued for 26 generations.

Dongshan’s reputation holds great aspirations,
The old family’s renown in the lands to the south of the river.
For a thousand years, the ancestral virtues have endured,
Esteemed like the highest rank upon a splendid terrace.
Succession to the revered ancestors’ dedication,
To uphold integrity, and maintain the ancestral rites.
Through countless generations, the origins flow afar,
Like the growth of orchids and noble herbs, one after another.
